Living in Berlin I understood pretty soon that clubbing is not for me. One thing I did find out though is that I would go to see punk gigs every single day. That’s how I discovered Koepi.
Koepi is an autonomous housing project, social centre and beating heart of underground culture. I feel like the history of this place can tell a lot about how was the post-wall Berlin.

I wrote about punk gigs, but Koepi hosts bands and artists of many different genres and from many countries.
Art events as well are organized, as I found out by pure chance one morning when I was bored at work.
I finished the shift, ran home to gather my zines and stickers, got a table and met a lot of cool artists.
